Learn how to knit socks without the "second sock" snydrome. Meaning after your done with the first one you still have the second one to do! We are knitting both socks at the same time, cuff down. The first class we learn the technique, get our gauge, cast on the ribbing and knit down the leg. The second class you need to have your socks the length you would like them because we start the second class with heel flaps, turning the heel, picking up stitches for the gussets and knitting down the foot. You are then shown how to decrease for the toes and close them up. One of my favorite classes to teach! Please sign up early as we are gifting classes this year and they do fill up.

I love patterns that you get to knit your own gauge instead of matching someone else's. Alot of the Yarn Heaven classes are based on knitting to your own gauge. This is a fast fun skirt today, you can have a drawstring waistband, or what some of us in a certain age group did was make an elastic waistband. We will be knitting completely in the round, doing increases as we go, kits are available for this class.
