The fun is in the making of this gorgeous scarf. It doesn't matter what yarn you use, it still turns out beautiful. Self striping yarns make great entrelac (look of woven fabric) squares. You will learn to knit backwards before we start the actual entrelac technique. When you knit backwards you never have to turn your work to do the purl stitches. Knitting backwards produces a purl on the backside and a knit on the front side. Not having to turn your work saves lots of time when doing entrelac. We are making this a four hour class after teaching it several times, we have found that extra hour goes a long ways in helping your understand and see what is happening.
TWO AT A TIME SOCKS - May 12 and May 19 - 2 Saturdays - 10:30am to 2:30pm - $65.00 Materials: Students need sock yarn, the book Knitting More Circles Around Socks and One 16" and one 24" needles both the same size, if you are a loose knitter brings ones, if you are a tight knitter bring twos.
